About this Cook
I am a Spanish teacher at a public high school. I have a wonderful and loving husband, and a great dog.
My favorite things to cook
My favorite things to cook are desserts! Also, pretty much anything that I feel like eating.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family is Italian, and one thing we always make around Christmas is homemade ravioli. It is definitely my favorite cooking tradition. Also, it is not a party in my family without a 10 course meal. Regardless of what is being celebrated, there must be food there!
My cooking triumphs
I am well known for my awesome chocholate chip cookies.
My cooking tragedies
Chocolate no-bakes! I just can't get them right!

Cream Cheese Frosting II
This is awesome easy frosting! It's definitely way better than what you can buy at the store. I did cut back on the powdered sugar to 3 cups, though.

Addictive Pumpkin Muffins
These are really great and easy muffins. I cut the sugar down to 2.5 cups since applesauce is sweet, and added 2 tbs. of vanilla. I also only had 2 12 count muffin tins, so I baked the rest in a small loaf pan at 350 and it took about 50-60 minutes.

Sauteed Apples
This is a great recipe as-is. It is wonderful on top of pancakes and also ice cream!
