I have been cooking for 5 years. Baking is my favorite thing to do, although I enjoy doing many other things too. Every Saturday night, my whole family gets together and we have dinner. So, I always make desserts for that affair. In my spare time, I enjoy being with friends and family, reading, writing, cooking, and a variety of other things. Healthy meals, desserts, (I know, exact opposites), and appetizers. Regular homey comfort foods. Finishing the rainbow citrus cake!!! It took four and a half hours and when I was finished, I thought I would never want to make another cake again! I had the perfect batch of homemade chocolate chip cookies in the oven and became so consumed with other things that by the time I remembered them, they were charred mounds.
