I'm a new mom with not much time on her hands, but when I get the time, I love to spend it on a new recipe. I've got a really picky-eating husband, which makes chosing a suitable recipe a challenge. Thanks to Allrecipes, that is a much easier task. I like creative one-skillet dishes, casserole and stews/soups. Every fall, my mother and I go crazy with pumpkin dishes. My favorite to make is pumpkin roll. My mother, Paula, makes the best pumpkin cookies with icing. My friends love them. I've finally mastered meatloaf my family loves! Christams 2006, I was set to bring the ham for dinner. However, I purchased a fresh ham from our local butcher and was set to cook it with some Coke and brown sugar for a nice sweet ham. However, the fresh ham is basically a big pork chop. I learned the hard way, but it was still good and we were all still thankful for the meal.
