Just your typical house-wifey lady! I have two children in elementary school, and I'm a SAHM, but I draw the line at the white picket fence. Flowers, sure, but no white picket fence!
My favorite things to cook
I just LOVE to bake! I love putting together some wonderful dessert that makes people say "WOW!" at the end of the meal. I've made some incredible things, but I've also made some flops in the process, haha!
My cooking tragedies
Never ask me to cook fish. I am inept when it comes to cooking fish. Must be because I'm landlocked, LOL!

Black Magic Cake
Perfect...perfect...perfect!! And it does get better with time. Try to make it a day before you want it. To die for!!

Juicy Roasted Chicken
This was sooo good, and so easy! I did make a couple of changes, as per the suggestions in another review: I sliced up six cloves of garlic, and two small lemons, and shoved that into the cavity along with the celery and butter. I tucked a couple of the lemon slices and a few slices of the garlic under the breast skin. My chicken was a little larger (5 pounds) and it took two hours to roast. It was absolutely delicious, and juicy! YUM! Will definitely make again!

Best Ever Banana Bread
Wow!! This really is the Best Ever Banana Bread!! I made it exactly as described--next time I may try to play around with the recipe a bit (add chocolate chips, vanilla, cinnamon, etc...) but it is simply wonderful as is. It's my new banana bread recipe! Thanks!
