'Out of Salad Dressing' Salad Dressing

I cut the recipe way down and guesstimated amounts. I also took the unforgivable step of using the "green bottle" Parmesan (not enough of the real stuff), and this was still awesome. Thank you.

Sweet and Sour Chicken III

VERY good. I added celery, as celery is good in just about everything. Added a small onion chopped coarsely, and added some dried red pepper to taste for a little bite. Topped with some green onion and served over rice. I think this is the best stir-fry type thing I have ever cooked.

Really excellent. I used with a pork/mushroom stirfry and it came out very well, event though I was out of ginger and had to used powdered. This is going in my rotation.

Steak Sauce

Very nice. I added some cayenne--much like the brand name sauce, but with more of a bite. Keeps in the fridge well, too. I don't plan on buying the named stuff ever again.

Big Al's K.C. Bar-B-Q Sauce

I didn't have molasses, so used cane syrup in a lesser amount. Doubled the cayenne. Used it one night for chicken, and the left-over sauce for a pork chop. This is a keeper.

Chicken Vicious

This recipe was awesome. I used Splenda, something I haven't cooked with too often, so I wasn't sure if the 1-to-1 on the sugar was going to be right, and frankly, I'd probably cut down on the Splenda next time. I used various veggies, icluding broccoli and cabbage, and might stir-fry them seperately next time so I can better control thier doneness. Used about a half of a tablespoon red peppers, and that was about perfect (for me). Lord, was it good! Hot! Sweet! Fantastic. Thank you for submitting.

Tomato Sauce Corn Chicken

I really like this just as written. I also have played around with it,using boneless breast strips, adding diced celery (because I add celery to everything), bell pepper, and jalapenos. Cilantro also makes a nice addition. I also serve over rice sometimes. Very simple, quick and satisfies my tomato sauce addiction.

Tomato Barley Soup

Nice. Bright and sort of sweet. I didn't have fresh tomatoes so just stuck with canned. Added cabbage towards the end and a dash of chili powder.
