i have been cooking since i got out on my own. i started with magazines like cuisine and eventually went over to bon appetit which i claim to have almost every issue in print! i cook as a hobby on the weekends but now that i have children i do not often make the things i like to eat..things that no one else does like seafood and lamb. i am a staunch supporter of this site and most things i cook these days come from here!

anything that needs a candy thermometer--i run screaming at recipes that call for one!
