About this Cook
I have been cooking since I was 17 years old when I married for the first time. I love to cook just about anything. Spicy dishes are my favorite. The older I get the hotter my food gets!

Buttery Rolls
The best rolls I have ever made! I proofed the yeast in the milk first. I was worried as it took a long time to rise, much longeer than stated int he recipe but simply worth the wait!

Chicken Stew with Dumplings
Wow! I made a few modifications though. Used three boneless chicken breasts and four chicken boullion cubes and filled the dutch oven half way with water. I also used one bag of soup veggies, as we like a lot of veggies. I added onion and about 1 tsp of minced garlic to the chicken while it boiled. I used salt, pepper and poultry seasoning as the spices. I thickened the stew with a flour/water mixture a little per reviews here saying it was too soupy. Dropped the dumplings by rounded teaspoon. Great comfort food!
