I am married 16 years to Rob and the happy, harried, SAHM to 6 kids ages 16, 14, 14, 10, 4 and 3. I love holidays and cooking on vacation for all our friends at the lake. Pasta, Roast Chicken, Pies, Cakes, homemade soups. My mom first taught me how to make a pie crust and I have taken it from there. I am now teaching my 10 and 14 yr. olds how to roll out a crust! I made a ragu out of chicken and country ribs for the first time last summer on my tiny stove at Lake George. It was good enough to make a grown man cry. It was even better 2 days later on penne baked with bechamel sauce. I have had several BBQ sparerib debacles. The first one was when we were recently married and had my husband's boss, Fr. Greg, over for dinner! It was like a preview of hell right on our backyard grill!
