Easy Mexican Casserole

I made this according to the directions and my husband and I really liked it. The truth is that my kids wouldn't even try it, but that's not unusual from them.

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

I made this for a family party and everyone loved it! The kids thought it was a bit too spicy, but they're kids so it was expected. My father and sister in-law asked for the recipe!

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

I loved this recipe. It was too spicy for my husband and kids so I had to give it 4 stars instead of 5. It's really not spicy- they're just super sensitive.

Mine wasn't runny at all- it was dry, and bland. I'm not sure how anything with so much cheese came out dry and bland, but it did. It was edible but I probably won't make it again. Maybe I made a mistake while making it.

Buttercream Frosting

I really liked this recipe. My consistency wasn't stiff enough to decorate with, but I ran out of powdered sugar. I can see how this recipe would be too sweet for some people, but I really liked it. It was way better than any can of store bought frosting. If your icing is runny it means there was too much milk. You can stiffen it up with more confectioners sugar.

Soft Christmas Cookies

I read the other reviews before I started. I decided to use butter instead of margarine, and drop the temp on my oven. I also decided just to be flexible with the flour. I probably ended up using about 3 1/2 cups for the cookies. They rolled out beautifully, were easy to cut and held their shape wonderfully. I only gave them 4 starts because mine needed the icing to give them some extra taste. Don't get me wrong, the cookies were good- but I think all sugar cookies are a little plain.

Sugar Cookies VII

I made these today and it was a disaster. The cookies seemed fine untill we rolled them out, and they would stick horribly no matter how much flour I used. They didn't hold the shape of our cut-out and burned before 8 minutes was up. The taste was okay but not impresive. I reread the recipe to see if I left something out, and I don't see anything I did wrong.
