This was fabulous! I really liked it, it was so quick and easy. I used the crockpot because I had a pie in the oven and it turned out wonderful. I did not have an onion on hand so I used some dry, minced onion - never the same - and used minced garlic instead of powder. I think this recipe is a 5 but my husband said 3, he thought it was good but missing something - an onion perhaps? Loved the recipe, I have two deer in the freezer so I will definitely use it again. I do not feel that it would serve 8 though - at least not in this house!

Served this at a party - some people loved it others thought it was bland. I will try again and maybe add some garlic or some other type of seasoning. I did use black pepper instead of cayenne because I do not like spicy food. I may also try using Bisquick or cornmeal instead of floor. Would go great in the morning with eggs and bacon.

This was very good, we all liked it. I omited the vinegar just because it didn't sound good and added a little extra ceasar dressing instead. I also switched the lettuce for baby spinach and used cherry tomatoes and red bell peppers. It makes a very large pot which is nice for us because we have a large family, very easy to tweek to your liking.
