About this Cook
My name is Tiffany and I am a 23 year old special education teacher. I work at a private school for kids who are seriously emotionally disturbed and many are autistic. I love my job. I just recently learned that I love to cook and am pretty good at it. I live in a small town in Pennsylvania with my husband and our 2 dogs. I cook about 4 out of 7 days a week and try a new recipe almost every time. I get about 90% of my recipes from this site. I just love it!
My favorite things to cook
I like to cook just about anything that sounds good. I tend to lean towards Italian dishes. I love anything with lots of cheese and my favorite things to cook with are garlic and onions.
My cooking triumphs
I was on a kick where I would make my own barbeque sauce. I successfully made one that was FANTASTIC, but didn't write it down and have never been able to get it quite that delicious again.
My cooking tragedies
Tirimisu! I spent about $20 on ingredients to make the desert for my husband's 30th birthday. I failed miserably. It was probably one of the most disgusting things I ever made. Perhaps someday I will try again.

Charleston Breakfast Casserole
We thought it was superb! I ended up having to bake mine for close to an hour even though I halved the recipe. Next time I'll make with onions. Yum!

Fresh Tomato Salsa
Delicious salsa! I gave it a 4 because I had to add garlic to get it perfect. We also used a mixture of jalapenos and banana peppers because we had no serano. My husband and I were both pretty pleased with the outcome.

Balsamic Bruschetta
I've been making this for about 3 years now and I don't think I ever reviewed this fantastic recipe. Everytime I make this it's a hit...even with my hubby who really doesn't like tomatoes. I used baguette when I made it today..toasted it...drizzled with more olive oil...put bruschetta on top...returned to toaster oven on broil with a sprinkling of mozzarella. Couldn't be more delicious or easy.
