Boston Brown Bread III

So very incredibly yummy, dense, and moist. It has a strong molasses flavor without being cloyingly sweet. My husband and I both loved it and I'll be making another loaf tomorrow!

Best Ever Muffins

Oh my yummy goodness! I used all Splenda instead of sugar and fat free vanilla yogurt instead of the oil. I then added a teaspoon of vanilla and one of cinnamon plus 1/2 t. soda (which Splenda suggested). When I tried the finished product I was fully prepared to shrug my shoulders and say "well, not bad for a low fat, lo cal muffin" but this muffin is so yummy and adaptable!!! My husband has already requested a second batch.

Babe Ruth Bars

Like most others, my bars crumbled a bit... but oh, were the crumbly bits delicious! My husband loved these and has repeatedly asked for round two. I might try adding more corn syrup for a greater gluey effect:-)

Italian Fig Cookies II

A very unique cookie! I really enjoyed the rich flavor of the filling. Instead of doing bars, I cut 3" circles, spooned the filling in the center and folded the pastry dough over, sealing the edges.

Apple Bundt Cake

This recipe was amazing! I doubled the apples, added extra cinnamon and 2 t. pumpkin pie spiece. Instead of oil I used fat free vanilla yogurt and the cake was dense and moist - perfect! I did add the caramel glaze but the first night it was sticky and just peeled off. The next day the cake was better and the caramel flavor blended more. I am such a fan:-)
