About this Cook
I have two picky toddlers, so i try to find recipes they will like. I love trying new recipes! I like to use the ingredient search on here to use what i have on hand, for sure.
My favorite things to cook
my fave thing to cook is chicken salad! I love onions, so its a great vehicle for me to just load on the onion. Plus, its easy! Also, anything in the crock pot i love, and i like to use my bread machine when i can.
My favorite family cooking traditions
my mom and i would make fudge every year at Christmas to bag and hand out to my family on Christmas Eve. We'd forget till the last minute almost every year, so it was funny!
My cooking triumphs
my first batch of cookies ever were really good! And lately, thanks to this website, I've been wowing my husband!
My cooking tragedies
No tragedies yet, just disapointments like when something you worked hard on was not very good. I did cut up jalapenos once without gloves, only washed my hands once and rubbed my eyes an hour later...yowie!

Baked Fish and Rice
This is a good start, nothing wrong with it, but fish needs more spice, and with the given cooking time, the rice wasnt cooked. needed about 18 minutes longer. and then still, it wasnt the rice I'm used to. Flavor was good, but the length of time cooking then also overcooked the broccoli....any solutions to that?
