I love to cook! I have theme parties at my apartment every month to have an "excuse" to try new things on unsuspecting victims :-) My boyfriend, Chris, only gets my tried & true best. My two lhasa apso pups, pookie & isabel, are always excited to eat the puppy-safe leftovers. I love dishes that take all night to cook. It just seems like there's always an equal payoff. Fried chicken, dressin', and lots of sweets! My mom is a baker... When my ex-husband turned to my ex-MIL and said "April makes it better"....talking about his favorite meal from growing up. I think about once a week I have a meal that just isn't up to par. No loss! Just an excuse to get someone else to cook for me!
