This is very creamy and tasty straight out of the oven, but the leftovers (which, even with a family of mac'n cheese lovers, you will have unless you're feeding an army) were dry. I ended up buying another pkg of noodles to make another batch to use up the rest of the cheese. I split that batch into two aluminum pans to bake and freeze for later.

These turned out surprisingly well! My husband and our two young children whipped these up very fast, followed the recipe to the letter, and they came out great. None of them stuck to the pan. The only thing we might change next time is to cut the hot dogs up into smaller bite sized pieces.

This is a really delicious and different dish! Like other reviewers, I used sun-dried tomatoes that were not packed in oil (maybe that was why it seemed a little dry with the leftovers the next day, so I had to add another T of mayo). Served it on small wheat rolls. I like the idea of mixing it in with some rotini... I'll try that next time.
