About this Cook
I have 2 beautiful children and a loving husband. My husband and I have been married for almost 6 years now(wow, it's been that long I guess!)
My favorite things to cook
I really like to make desserts(especially chocolate!), mexican dishes and I love to attempt new things in the kitchen.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom has always been big on baking desserts. I probably enjoy it even more than she does!
My cooking triumphs
I make the best cheesy beer fondue!
My cooking tragedies
I can't think of anything specific right now.

Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers
This is a great recipe! I was looking for cheap meals that are healthy and filling and this was a great change. My husband wasn't too sure of it at first, but once he tasted it he told me he was pleasantly suprised and he would like it added to our meal rotation! The only things I changed was I added 2 eggs instead of 1 and I used oatmeal(grind it up in the processor) in place of the bread crumbs. I ended up using 1-1 1/2 cups of the oatmeal! The consistency should look similar to regular hamburger once you've added enough oatmeal. I will keep this one! Thanks :o)

These are so good, I can't get enough! Everyone in my house kept eating them and raving on how soft and tasty they are. Make them, you'll see :o)
