I made this recipe as written - except I sliced them about a 1/4 inch thick - and it was absolutely delicious. Perfectly crispy and just the right amount of spice. Big hit with everyone.

A friend of mine raved about these so I had to try them myself. They are delicious - a Heath bar cookie! Easy, inexpensive, quick and irresistible. I followed the recipe exactly and had no problems at all. I did pop them in the fridge to help with the cooling process. Everyone who has tasted them loves them.

This was excellent - everyone in the family loved it. Very nice flavor, not overpoweringly sweet. The only thing I did differently from the recipe was to substitute garlic powder for the garlic clove (which I didn't have) and garlic salt. I did not add any salt and the marinade was just fine. This is definitely a keeper.
