I live in Amarillo, Tx with my fiance. I love to cook, but I usually cook WAY too much. I have a basset hound named Macie who loves to lay right under my feet when I'm in the kitchen.

I love to cook anything that has a lot of fresh veggies in it. I love creating my own casserole dishes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
After a weekend of deer hunting, we get together and make a ton of venison sausage.
My cooking triumphs
My spaghetti sauce! My dad taught me how to make it when I was 12. I added my own touches and now nobody else in my family is allowed to make spaghetti when I am there. At least one holiday a year I make a huge batch for the entire family.
My cooking tragedies
Trying to make my great grandmothers chili. I had the recipe, but I butchered it. It is the ONLY thing that I have ever made that I couldn't eat.
