I used fresh blueberries and a little more sugar than the recipe calls for. I still wanted syrup on mine, but they were delicious!

Super easy and tasty too. I doubled the soy sauce and ginger so that it wouldn't be as sweet. I also just spooned the sauce over the pork once it was plated. There was a bunch of leftover sauce, so I refrigerated it to serve over chicken another night.

My husband and I liked this a lot. The kids weren't so crazy about it. I did half with mozzarella and half with gouda to compare the tastes. The gouda was definitely a better taste--the smokiness counteracted the sweetness of the sauce--but the mozzarella was good too, and definitely cheaper. I also forgot to add the cilantro to the sauce, so I threw it on top at the end. Will have to try it in the sauce next time.
