Baked Buffalo Wings

Reviewed: May 24, 2008
I have always baked my buffalo wings, but this is the first time I've drenched them in flour prior to baking them. I only added 3 tsp of cayenne pepper to the flour because 5 tsp seemed excessive. The wings were crispy and juicy on the inside. Definitely the best wings I've ever made. Thanks for sharing!

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2007
The *best* macaroni and cheese I've ever had. This is the first time I've made macaroni and cheese, and I'm sticking with this recipe. I did have a few variations: I used 16oz of rigatoni instead of 8oz of macaroni. I added 8oz of monterey jack cheese.

Awesome! Best cornbread I've ever had. I made this for a fiesta-themed dinner party and got major compliments!

Classic Spanish Sangria

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2006
I had a "fiesta" themed dinner party and this was hardly touched. One person had one glass, another person tried it and said it "burned her throat". I had two glasses just to get rid of it. I thought it was "OK". I bought a fifth of rum and a bottle of wine to make this...seemed like a waste of money.

Szechwan Shrimp

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2006
This is one of my favorite recipes. It's so quick and easy, I've made it a handful of times already. If you're not a fan of shrimp, it's also good with chicken or scallops. Which ever the main ingredient, I always serve it with a side of steamed broccoli - it goes very well with the sauce!

Tabbouleh I

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2006
I wasn't very happy with the outcome of this recipe. The taste was bland and it was very watery even after I drained the bulgur. I don't know if I'd make it again.

Stuffed Peppers Italian Style

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2006
This was fanastic! I was looking for a stuffed banana pepper recipe and came across this one. I substituted 12 banana peppers for the green peppers and added a can of crushed tomatoes and 1/2 cup of parmesean cheese to the stuffing. Will definitely make again.

Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2006
I received many compliments on these meatballs when I served them at my Super Bowl party. The only complaint I have is that the sauce was more watery than thick.

Pierogi Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2006
Very good! I made this as a side dish for my Super Bowl party (GO STEELERS). I didn't follow the exact directions of the recipe. I folded the bacon, onion and garlic combination into the mashed potatoes. I then layered it with the cheddar cheese. I also added a layer of noodles to the bottom of the pan, because it didn't say to. I covered the pan with foil and baked it for 30 minutes so the noodles would not get hard. I then took the foil off the dish and baked it uncovered for an additional 15 minutes.

Baked Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2006
Very good! This is a great, simple, way to make scalloped potatoes. I followed the recipe, however I also added 1 C of cheddar cheese to the soup mixture. FANTASTIC!

Glazed Pork Chop

It was very tasty and simple to make. I will definitely make this recipe again. Next time I will probably use less water or no water at all, because I had a lot of liquid left on the bottom of the pan.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2005
This chili is phenomenal! I will definitely make it again. Everyone raved! My variations: I omitted the celery (didn't appeal to me) and used 2 cans of chili beans and one can of kidney beans. I also only used 2 T of chili powder instead of the 1/4 C it called for.
