About this Cook
I am a wife, mother and now I'm a Grammy too! I love my family. My favorite thing is to have EVERYONE home at once, it's a crowd but I love it. I also enjoy catering on occasion, but it's not my full time job.
My favorite things to cook
Desserts, I love making desserts! I also love cooking Mexican and Italian dishes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We love having a huge Thanksgiving dinner, anyone and everyone is invited. It is so much fun, loads of work, but worth every minute.
My cooking triumphs
I came up with a WONDERFUL Cinnabon clone, people are always begging me to make it. I love experimenting with desserts. Though my greatest triumph is that all three of my children are excellent cooks!
My cooking tragedies
My mother was a wonderful cook, the greatest cooking tragedy was that I didn't come into the kitchen and learn any of her wonderful recipes. Through trial and error, I have perfected many of them, some thanks to this site. I always did make sure my children spent time in the kitchen with me while I cook, I would hate for them to miss out on what I did. Nothing is better than cooking with mom.

Spicy Orange Beef
I made this recipe 2 different times. The first time I made the exact recipe, and didn't like it. Then the second time I added a bit more garlic, soy sauce, and omitted the orange segments. It tasted much better.
