I love to bake (pies especially.) My favorite thing to cook is anything that makes my husband smile...especially when it is a new recipe. Growing up, my favorite family cooking tradition was Christmas cookie and candy making. My mom and I would spend days baking. My first Thanksgiving Turkey. I had never done Thanksgiving Dinner before this, and when the whole meal was finished, I was so proud! The first few times cooking on my own! I couldn't even begin to count the times the smoke detector went off!
