Tex-Mex Burger with Cajun Mayo

Great burger recipe. We made them as written but added spicy onion rings to them too. DH added hot sauce to his mayo which was very nice too.

Awesome Roast Beef

Great recipe, i cooked it on low for 7 hours and it fell apart wonderfully well. I added lots of veggies to add more flavour to the resulting gravy.

Good recipe, definately needs the garlic addition though. I accidentally added too much pepper to the first batch and they were terrible so watch out for your measurements. The next batch had the right amount and were delicious.

Chinese Chicken Fried Rice I

Great recipe! I added a teaspoon of 5 spice seasoning and swopped the celery for sliced mushrooms. It turned out wonderfully tasty.

Mexican Rice II

Great recipe! I added a teaspoon of Cajun seasoning to it and changed the tomato sauce and chicken broth to 1 cup. DH found it a little bland and added some hot sauce to his which did improve it. I added chicken and sausage to the leftovers for lunch the next day and it was very good.

Best Scrambled Eggs Ever!

This is how I always make my scrambled eggs! I add a little butter to the pan and add just a pinch of salt and pepper, then are simple and great to eat with potato cakes/farls on a Sunday morning.

Grecian Green Beans in Tomato Sauce

This is a great recipe! I added a clove of garlic and a little cayenne pepper and used fresh parsley from the garden. This went great with our grilled chicken.

Garlic Green Beans

Great recipe! I added more garlic and heated it in a pan with the olive oil. I also steamed my fresh green beans before quick frying them in the garlic and oil. Tasted delicious and went really well with the Filet Steaks and grilled mushrooms.

Curried Coconut Chicken

Excellant recipe! I made this for my boyfriend and I and the ingredients translated well for just the two of us. I added lots of chopped veg into it as well, mushrooms, onions, peppers and green beans as they needed to be used. It tasted fantastic, Many thanks.

Lemon Thyme Chicken

This is a great recipe but i wanted a thicker consistency so I added a little cream to the sauce which made it perfect. I also substituted rosemary for the thyme and was very happy with the result.

Sirloin Steak Dianne

I swopped the red for white wine, as that's what I had in, and omitted the dyjon mustard as I am not a fan. Unfortunately this left it a little bland. I will experiment with some different ingredients but will definately be making this again.

Spicy Indian Chicken Curry Yummy

This was exactly what I was looking for. I didn't have any cinnamon sticks but it still tasted great! I added a diced fresh chilli to add a bit more heat and added carrots, mushrooms and spinach to make it a little healthier. Great recipe, thanks.

Proper English Cottage Pie

I left out the cinnamon and the cheese and pie crust as these weren't to our taste. I added a handful of chopped mushrooms and a small can of garden peas into the mix. I also added a dash of worcestershire sauce and lots of salt & pepper. The great thing about this recipe is that you can chop and change the ingredients and it still tastes great!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Amazing basic recipe. After reading some of the other reviews (150+) I made a couple of additions. I seasoned and floured the meat and sealed on all sides then added baby carrots and sliced onions. I replaced the water for beef stock and one cup of red wine. I added sliced portobello mushrooms and leeks about three hours before the end. I had to thicken the sauce a little on the stove top but that was to be expected. I got complements all round, thank you for a great recipe.

This is really good. I put in fresh veggies instead of frozen, personal choice, and I used a frozen pastry mix, as I didn't have time to make one from scratch. I served this for four and there weren't any leftovers.
