I'm a 27 yr old single Mom of two young boys. I work in Law Enforcement as a Dispatcher. I started cooking when I was just 4 or 5 yrs old with my great grandmother and grandmother, contiuned to cook throughout my teens and I am not teaching my boys the basics. Just about anything, especially from scratch!! Cooking and baking the holiday meals with my Grandmother! Pies!!! My mother can not bake a pie to save her life. I was worried, but it came natural for me. Making pancakes one morning for my soon to be husband and his grandmother...I mistook the jar with writing "pancake" for actual pancake mix. It was just flour, the jar had been from when she worked in a kitchen and been the last name of someone. She did say they were the best flourcakes she has ever had.
