Brown Sugar Pie II

make sure you mix eggs in well, it can taste a little crunchy if you leave them loosely mixed. this pie is amazing, i have added to my thanksgiving menu and it is highly coveted by every crowd and soooo easy!

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

soooo good and easy to make - i used half butter/half crisco and it tasted great - i added walnuts to half the pan after spreading the batter and then used a knife to zigzag them into place. that way both my hubby and i got what we liked.

Cinnamon Raisin Bread I

Easy and delicious but I thought the bread lacked some flavor besides the cinnamon - will definitely keep and try to make a little spicier or sweeter - thank you.

Very tasty, esp with a mix of white and milk chocolate chips (white in the mix and chocolate chip or reverse for fun)!

Cinnamon Croutons

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2007
I changed this into a literal 2 minute recipe when I toasted a wheat bagel in the toaster, melted 2 tbsp butter in microwave, mixed it with cinnamon sugar, and then cut up the bagel and lightly mixed it all together. It was a delicious addition to our apple, cheddar and walnut salad with a dressing comprised of equal parts of maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, and olive oil.

White Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Best oatmeal cookies I've tasted, I am getting rid of other recipes - esp. b/c these cookies actually rise well, it must be baking powder. Also, dried cherries are a great addition instead of or along with pecans.

Italian Dressing Mix

I love that this recipe has so many easy ingredients I always have on hand. I use olive oil, not canola and it is a healthy but yummy substitute. This is def. my new recipe for italian dressing.

Ranch Dressing II

Overall yummy - I added a dash of worcheschire sauce for a little kick, and it was good. A little too thick, so I will add buttermilk or milk to thin out to pour, but very easy and good.

Asian Orange Chicken

As good as a restaurant, and I really simplified the recipe, using only powdered ginger and garlic powder instead of laboring over/buying the others. Also omitted the orange zest, but squeezed the orange fresh :)

Angel Whispers

I was surprised at how delicious and refreshingly different from the normal holiday cookie these tasted! I am not a huge fan of lemons and I LOVE these cookies, so I had to rate them a 5. FYI - I used lime juice instead of lemon and also lemon extract instead of zest which made it even simpler (used "common substitutions" chart for amounts).

This dip is perfect for casual or festive evenings of munching. We were surprised what a great combo these ingredients were. Try to soften the dip before serving, as right out of the fridge it is pretty stiff. Thank you!

Chocolate Mint Cookies I

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2006
Yum! I made this recipe for my cookie exchange and instead of all Andes mints, I did half with Andes toffee rectangles (same size as mints) and those were just as delicious. Make sure not to overbake, as I did for half and they were hard (I did 10 minutes then put back in to melt chocolate 2 minutes and this was too long).
