I really enjoyed this recipe. I omitted the butter, used whole wheat flour, used 1/2 cup oats in place of 1/2 cup flour, and added about a 1/2 tsp each of cinnamon and vanilla. I put the batter in the fridge over night and added a little extra milk in the morning. The first batch I made tasted doughy in the middle so the next batch I took the back of a spoon and spread out the batter. Very good!

Absolutely amazing! I add mini chocolate chips to the cookie and use milk instead of cream for the filling. Be sure not to overbake...I do med size cookies for 8 minutes. Everyone always asks for the recipe!

This recipe is amazing...and one of my husbands favorites. There is only one thing I change which is instead of the jar of taco sauce I buy enchilada sauce or put an extra small can of tomato sauce in the recipe and spoon the leftover sauce over the top.
