The skinny cook you can trust!
About this Cook
I am 23 years old and a current college student. I have two huge passions in my life - running and cooking. I guess I'm lucky that my two passions even each other out! I have heard the old saying "don't trust a skinny cook," and I think it is completely false! Granted, some lowfat and fat free cooking does taste poor, but that's all I cook and I assure you I only make good food! People are amazed when I serve something delicious and later tell them it's not as sinful as they may have thought!
My favorite things to cook
Desserts, Italian food, and Mexican food.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My brother and I always used to make this streusel coffee cake. It was always good but I wish I could find something now that compared to that!
My cooking triumphs
I have made the Tiramisu Layer Cake from this website so many times I have lost count and that is not even the fraction of the amount of requests I have gotten for the recipe and the dessert itself! I also get requests for my manicotti and lasanga recipe!
My cooking tragedies
It was french...I should have known that if I couldn't pronounce it I would never be able to make it!

Peppermint Snowballs
These are the best cookies ever! I couldn't find the peppermint candies needed to make these cookies so I used one box of candy canes and it was the exact amount needed. I also used my Magic Bullet to crush the candy and it worked perfectly! I used the shaker top to sprinkle the candy on top of the iced cookies! MMMM, thank you!

Banana Peanut Butter Bread
I also thought this was dry even with the changes mentioned by other viewers, but it did have great flavor!

Grilled Brown Sugar Pork Chops
This was just too sweet for my own personal preference. My husband and I are not huge fans of pork chops but my parents are and eat them often so we're always trying new recipes to please both parties. Sadly this tastes just like a sweet pork chop, which did not please, but thanks for sharing!
