This icing recipe is my absolute favorite out of all that I've tried! I used it to pipe on decorations for my daughter's horse birthday cake. I needed to add almost 2/3 cup more powdered sugar to make it stiff enough to pipe on. To decorate a 9x13" cake, you will want to double the recipe. (Make sure you use clear vanilla if you want white icing.)

In the last 3 years, I have made this recipe more times than I can count. There are always requests and an empty bowl at the end of the get-together. My father-in-law loves it so much he just eats it with a spoon!

I saw some people say they have not been able to find a sauce. Go try Big Al's KC BBQ sauce on this site. It has been reviewed like 80 times and everyone loves it. My family and I do not buy BBQ sauce anymore. We just make this. It is absolutely fantastic. Try it out if you are looking.
