Well, lets see.....i am originally from Windsor, Va and i am currently living in Seattle WA....i relocated here with the coast guard and i am a cook on a Coast Guard Cutter! On my boat now i have a crew of 170! On my duty days i get up at 4 am and begin cooking at 5 am and i get home about 7 or 7:30 PM :)! Me and my husband volunteer at a local animal shelter and on my days off we are normally there...when were not we go to the beach or do something else outdoors..

Love to cook pasta and chicken! So much you can do with them! I love baking breads as well!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite memories of cooking with my family was thanksgiving and christmas, EVERYONE came over and we all crammed into our tiny little kitchen and made a wonderful feast!
My cooking triumphs
I am learning to cook healthier meals....I recently went to a nutrition class and it has taught me that you don't need all the fat to make the food taste good.
My cooking tragedies
I was making extra maranara sauce on the boat, I went and sat down to eat when my 2nd class called me back in the galley....apparently I forgot about the maranara sauce on the stove (that was cut oh high) and it exploded and went all over the floor, the gaylord hood system, the steamer and the overhead! It was the BIGGEST mess I have ever seen!
