Italian Sausage Soup with Tortellini
This was really great! My mom even asked for the recipe. I used 1 cup of Merlot instead of half and no water. I also used a large can of diced and crushed tomatoes instead of whole. My guests did go back for seconds and my hubby said I could make it again (which of course is always a BIG bonus)!

Apple Pan Chicken
the chicken was really very moist and tasty. However, the apples, currants (I used craisins) and jalepeno (again, substitute green chilis) mixture was horrible. I ended up cutting the chicken and adding it to sald. I won't make this one again!

G-ma's Rice
this was a great side dish. We put in tortilla's with fajitas. The recipe makes a huge serving and for two average adults it was WAY to much food.
