Sunchoke and Sausage Soup
I changed this slightly and used pork sausage sicne that was what I had on hand. I also omitted the bacon. I made it in the slow cooker and didn't thicken it at the end. It was delicious and reminded me of Italian wedding soup.

Cranberry Eggnog Cornbread Scones
These are delicious scones. I like the slight crunch that the cornmeal gives them. I baked it as one large round scone rather than cutting into smaller scones and just increased the baking time slightly. The eggnog flavour is very subtle, so if you are looking for the eggnog flavour you might want to add some nutmeg.

Coleslaw with a Difference!
Delicious and very simple. I omitted the lemon juice because I didn't have any on hand, and used fresh cabbage and green onions rather than coleslaw mix.
