I'm a stay at home mom with 3 picky little eaters and I've got a great husband who isn't picky at all. I don't exactly love to cook but, since it was part of the job description, I try and give it my best shot. I love to bake bread and sweet things. I also like trying to make ethnic food. No real traditions however, when we lived in New Mexico for four years I learned to make some real good ethnic dishes. These are my families favorites and they're all the more fun to make when everyone joins in. My first loaf of bread (I couldn't believe I actually made it!) And an almond ring I could never get quite right after the first time. So many! But the one that stands out in my mind would be the time right after I was first married and I tried to use up the left over taco meat in the spaghetti sauce. My husband was grossed out but laughed about it just the same.
