Phenomenal Chicken and Pasta in Creamy Pesto Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2009
Delicious! I didn't give 5 stars ONLY because I didnt make this as the recpe is written. Still outstanding. I left out the chicken and mixed the sundried tomatoes in oil into the pesto

Pumpkin Pie Squares

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2009
This was definitely quicker and easy to make however, I didnt think it is as good as the pumpkin cheesecake from this site. I followed the instructions but think there was too much sugar and perhaps too much butter in the crust. If I make this again, I will cut back the butter and the sugar. Pretty good though...

Orange Beef-Style Tofu Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2009
I thought this was pretty good. My vegan son wasnt too thrilled about it though. I doubled the sauce and DO NOT put the tofu into the sauce--pour the sauce over when ready to serve. I made the mistake of putting the PERFECTLY fried tofu INTO the sauce and they got soggy. If i make again, i will not put the tofu into the sauce

White Chocolate, Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2008
1000 stars for this cookie! I added 2 pinches of salt, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 3/4 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup white sugar. Eight minutes ONLY and these are the puffiest, softest cookie in the world...like a brownie/cookie. I divided the batter in 1/3s. One I left as the recipe, one I added chopped, dried cherries, and one with chopped nuts. Delicious!

Busy Day Barbeque Brisket

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2008
I put all ingredients except for bbq and worchestershire sauces in a giant baggie, sealed and left in the refrig overnight. The next morning I put it all in the crock pot with about 1/4 cup water. Put the bbq sauce on the table for us to put on the meat as we ate. This is so delicious~unreal! I used the leftovers, shreaded in beef enchiladas...OMG this is such an easy & delicious way to make meat!

French Onion Soup Gratinee

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2008
Excellent! I think next time I will try a different type of red wine (I used cab) I also used "Texas Toast w/cheese" in place of the French Bread toasted because I had it on hand and didnt want to purchase a loaf of french bread that would go to waste. My opinion is that 30 minutes cooking the onions in the first place is too long...

Marinated Spicy Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2008
I did not like these. The chops were dry and its not because they were over cooked. I think the marinade could have used a teaspoon of some type of oil, sesame perhaps? MY chops were very lean and I think that made the chops less than juicy to start with. The lemon in this did not help.

Slow Cooker Adobo Chicken

Followed recipe exactly....did not like...boring. tastes like chicken with soy sauce. it may be very authentic but it didn't taste good to me. UPDATE~diced the boring chicken and put it on a salad of romaine lettuce, roasted soy beans, sunflower seeds and used a low fat spicy Asian dressing~better but still boring....

Chicken with Chipotle

I browned boneless, skinless chicken breasts in oil and added to the sauce. I really liked this a lot. chipotles can be really hot but I love the smokiness of the chilis. As usual, I used fat free evaporated milk in place of the cream.
