Peppermint Meringues
These are probably the easiest cookies to make and very very good! You know they're ready to pipe out when the "batter" is super sticky and glossy (almost the consistency of marshmallow creme). I followed the recipe exactly and used a piping bag to pipe out little hershey's kisses sized cookies onto my cookie sheet. I also used parchment paper instead of foil and they slid off very easily without the use of a spatula.

Alyson's Broccoli Salad
The combo of flavors in this recipe is just perfect! The only minor change I would suggest would be to use golden raisins (instead of red). They are a little sweeter and compliment this recipe very well.

Japanese Chicken Wings
This recipe intimidated me a bit at first as I've never fried anything. It was actually very easy (though a little time consuming), but the wings turned out wonderfully! They received many compliments. These are best hot/straight from the oven, though.
