Old Fashioned Coconut Cream Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2009
This was my first attempt at coconut cream pie and it turned out great!! I followed other reviews and used 1 1/2 cups of unsweetened coconut milk and 1 1/2 cups of half and half. Be careful when you toast your coconut... I learned the hard way and burned it until it was black. Great pie and there wasn't a piece left. (My boyfriend's dad had 3 pieces!)

I loved the extra "spice" from the ground cloves.

Hot Chicken Wing Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2009
Everyone LOVES it!! I buy a roast chicken that you can get in the deli section of your grocery store and just shred the meat off the bone. Then I mix the chicken and the bottle of Franks Hot Wing Sauce into a 9X13 pan and stick it in the oven to warm while I mix the rest. I then melt the cream cheese and ranch together on the stove top, low heat and spread it over the chicken, sprinkle the shredded cheddar and bake until bubbly and brown. I serve with tortilla chips.

Aaahh! Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2005
I have never made homemade potato soup before, but this recipe was really easy and good. Instead of cream I used skim milk and I also added onion and ham to mine.

Bulgogi (Korean Barbecued Beef)

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2005
I loved it!!! When I first smelled the marinade I was afraid that the taste would be to much like soy sauce but it was not, it was perfect. I broiled mine instead of grilling, I just made a bowl out of foil and broiled it to get the meat brown. It worked really well.

Quick Asian Beef Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2005
It was really good. I was nervous to put the ginger in it, because I don't like ginger, but I didn't even taste it. I also added celantro. Next time I am going to add some bean sprouts and shredded carrots.

Italian Breaded Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2005
The pork was very tender and good. I would have liked the outside to stay more crisp but overall it was pretty good.
