About this Cook
I have been an unofficial member of All Recipes for several years. I love to bake and cook for people. Preparing food for someone is a labor of love, a lot of time and care is put into a meal for me. I am a stay-at-home mother to Marcello and Lorenzo. I look forward to creating many memories with them inside and outside the kitchen as they grow up.
My favorite things to cook
I enjoy baking desserts primarily; brownies, pies, cakes and cookies. I love all things involving chocolate and buttercream. I do like to cook, I make excellent meatballs!!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Thanksgiving has always been a wonderful event for me since childhood. I think all my favorite foods were born from this holiday. I enjoy the preparation and display of all the delicious courses on the table. Traditionally, Sunday has always been reserved for pasta and meatballs in my family.
My cooking triumphs
A few of the things I have really mastered are meatballs, chili, brownies and chocolate chip cookies. I haven't won any contests yet, but I did just enter one.

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Muffins
These muffins are very addictive. I have one everyday at breakfast with a cold glass of milk. Truly a chocolate lovers dream!

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust
I was disappointed with the way the crust turned out. I followed this recipe exactly as it was written. The dough didn't rise. After it was cooked the inside was raw and the outside wasn't crusty. If there are any tips or tricks, please let me know. From the reviews I read, it sounds like it should have turned out excellent.

Creamy Macaroni and Cheese
This is the best "from scratch" macaroni and cheese I have ever tasted. It is very creamy and has a rich cheese flavor. I have made it several times and it is always gobbled up. I add only 1 tbsp of dijon, otherwise it has too much 'bite' for me.
