About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake desserts! My blueberry crunch, cream cheese brownies, and peach cobbler are requested at all functions. My all time fave is my secret ingrediant lasagna.

Seared Tuna with Wasabi-Butter Sauce
I just realized that I have never rated this recipe. This is the best tuna steaks I have ever had. My husband and I go to a very upscale restaurant for our anniversary every year just to get their tuna steaks but this recipe is so much better that now I have had to find other things to eat when we go. Anyway, its very easy to make and always a hit with the family.

Caramel Shortbread Squares
These were great. I took the advice of one of the reviews below and cooked the sweetend condensed milk on low. Definately something I will make again. However, I doubled the recipe bc I didn't think it would be enough. I had plenty to serve and a bunch left over. They are very rich so we didn't eat a bunch like we would normally do some of the other desserts that I make.

Cake Balls
well I attempted these w/o reading any of the reviews (something I've never done before) and thought it can't be that hard. It was very messy, and by the time I was finished I vowed to never make them again. However, EVERYONE loved them and requested them for our next Christmas get together on Tues. I came back and read the reviews just now and see where I went wrong. I def. recommend following the advice of some of the other reviews. I can't wait to try a different variation of these as I used triple choc. chip cake mix with the triple choc chip icing (1/2 would have sufficed) very very rich. I am giving it 5 stars bc I did not read the reviews before making.
