About this Cook
I have 2 kids, 1 husband and a full time job. I try to pull off dinner most nights for a nice family meal.
My favorite things to cook
I love to find great casseroles and big Sunday dinners. I also enjoy trying new recipes!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Growing up we used to enjoy a big dish of Chicken Divan and although my husband does not care for it, I plan on passing it on to my kids. Simple and delicious.
My cooking triumphs
My triumph will be when I get both my kids to finish a plate of food I have made and then ask for more!
My cooking tragedies
To many to talk about!

Turkey Brine
This brine worked like a charm. I used a fresh young turkey, Butterball brand and the meat was moist and tasty. We used an 18lb turkey and I lowered the salt to 3/4 cup, however 1 cup would have been just fine.

Instant Pistachio Salad
Very very sweet. I did like how easy this recipe was. I agree with the other reviews, add the juice with the pineapple.

Daria's Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff
Good dish for the crock pot. I made a few changes as did others and used stew meat which came out very tender and 8oz. of sour cream versus 16. I only had white wine on hand, but I agree that red wine should be added.
