I have been married for just over a year and found for my love for cooking just recently. I would love to take everything I have learned and open a restaurant back in WV someday.

My favorite family cooking traditions
We are known for our cheese balls and and our baking. The very first thing I ever learned to make was a cheese ball when I was a little girl and it has grown from there.
My cooking triumphs
I have found that while I don't care for seafood, I am best at that. My husband LOVES my seafood. I will never know why though because I won't eat it because I know I won't appreciate it. But everyone agrees that is my specialty.
My cooking tragedies
Years ago I was following the wrong recipe on a box. I meant to make the simple original cake recipe. What I was following was the one that had rum in it for adults. I was making it for my little brother and sisters. I felt so stupid. The worst part was that it was my now husband that pointed it out and couldn't let it go.
