About this Cook
I grow seasonal organic vegetables and some flowers in a community volunteer garden. Cooking for 1 or 2 is where I am today.
My favorite things to cook
Switching from heavy fattening dishes to healthy alternatives. I must be doing something right, as have gone down several sizes!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Canadian/Polish/Ukranian/German
My cooking triumphs
[Pop-Overs] for years it seemed they were always a hit or miss. Until one day my married daughter asked me for my Popover recipe and asked what was my secret to making them puff up so nice. I guess I was more judge than jury on that recipe!
My cooking tragedies
I once grabbed cinnamon instead of pepper and dumped it in a batch of Chedder/Potato Peroghy's.

Butternut Squash Ravioli with Sage-Brown Butter Sauce
This a great "Freezer Recipe", though with out the sauce. I make sauce according to portion used.
