Strawberry Cake from Scratch
I made this cake yesterday for a birthday party and it was really good and pretty easy to make. It also really seemed to impress people. I topped it with a cream cheese icing which complimented the cake well.

Apple Cake V
I made this last night and it was so good, I can't wait to have another piece tonight. Like others I used 3/4 cup apple sauce and 1/2 cup of oil to cut down on the fat. I also added 1 tbsp of cinnamon, 1/2 tsp nutmeg, and 1/2 tsp of ginger.

Black Bean and Salsa Soup
I made this last night because I had a huge batch of black beans I made last week. This was good and simple. I think using homemade beans and high quality salsa made it even better. I topped mine with green onions, sour cream, crumbled tortilla chips, cheese, and chopped cilantro.
