A-Number-1 Banana Cake

This was moist and excellent. I only had whole wheat flour on hand and sour cream, so I made the substitution for the flour and buttermilk. Yummy

It was not something to write home about, I agree with some of the other reviews, the ginger is way to powerful, I would suggest cutting the amount to 1/8 cup. I added more cumin powder as it was a little bland. This recipe could be boosted up if dill was added to the recipe. Wouldn't make it again.

Neatballs Not Meatballs

I rate these a 5 for an alternative to meat. I love meat, but due to health issues have been trying to ph my body, thus trying new ideas. If you don't have a dehydrator, I imagine these could be placed in your oven at the lowest temperature on parchment paper, just to harden them up a bit. I had these with a yummy marinara sauce; a sauce is required which is my personal preference :)

Pastry for Double Pie-Crust

Super easy to work with! I put the flour in my food processer, pulsed the shortening, and added the water....all I had to do was pull the dough out and roll! I was so intimidated to make pie...NOT anymore :))))
