Whole Wheat and Honey Pizza Dough

Not sure what happened here, we usually love whole wheat breads. I used un-toasted wheat germ...perhaps that was the problem. Texture and flavor after baking were too doughy. Baked for 12 minutes at 350 w/ ~1/2 inch thickness after rising.

Pumpkin Pancakes

These were wonderful. Replaced half the flour with whole wheat and used bread flour for the other half. Pancakes were nice and puffy and had a nice flavor...

Vegan Lasagna I

This recipe is REALLY good...we are definitely making this one again. I used whole wheat lasagna noodles and spiced the sauce up a little by adding some Italian spice mix and a bay leaf. Otherwise, the sauce was thick and rich and the final lasagna was very moist!

Pesto with Arugula

This recipe was perfect for my non-dairy diet and my in-laws liked it as well. We used this as a spread on grilled pizza (w/o cheese) and it was very good. The left-overs did not freeze very well so I will make 1/2 recipe next time.

Momma's Wheat Germ Cookies

These cookies are really good...they are sweet and chewy...absolutely delicious! This recipe required a couple non-stock ingredients but was well worth the effort. I reduced the white sugar to 1/2 cup and used reduced fat shredded coconut from Trader Joes.
