Big Mama's Fruit Dip

Great dip! My Bingo crowd thought it was a fancy sweet dip. I had pound cake, graham crackers, strawberries and butter wafer crisps to accompany this yummy dip.

Stuffed Green Peppers I

These was great! The only change I made was I used 5 green peppers and one red pepper. Next time I may make it with red peppers instead of green. Yummy!

Spanish Rice Bake

This is one of the Spanish Rice recipes. My DH loves spanish rice, not so much me. I am always looking for one he likes. This is it! I used salsa instead of the chili sauce. I think I may sprinkle some green onions on top next time.

Chicken Stir-Fry

5 stars for the ease of this recipe. 4 stars for needing more flavor. I added red pepper instead of carrots and a couple more shakes of soy sauce. I also doubled the sauce. I will up the ginger next time and sautee(sp?) some fresh garlic with the onions prior to adding the rest of the veggies.

Frank's® Red Hot® Buffalo Chicken Dip

Really yummy! Addicting for me! I mixed blue cheese and mozzarella in the mix. I am a non blue cheese fan but this was good. If you are a lover of blue cheese I think you could use your favorite dressing which may have a stronger blue cheese flavor like Marie's salad dressing. I used Frank's Red Hot Sauce but may use a different kind next time. I think it needed a little more zing.

Pork Chops Deluxe

This was good. This dish does need more flavor. I sauteed some garlic before putting the chops and seasoned them with s and p. Next time I will saute the onions before putting in the chops. I will add more mustard too. Add garlic IMO or a spice you really enjoy. I agree with Leah that the tomatoes are not necessary(sp?). I think you could compensate with a little tomato sauce. The parsley did not do add much to the flavor either

Garlic Parmesan Chicken

I was impressed with this! I used store bought bread crumbs and reduced the amount per the reviews. I still had plenty! I put the rest of the crumbs on the bottom and the top of the chicken. I used boneless breasts and bumped up the temp to 375 for 30 minutes. Check the chicken after 20 minutes.

Simple and yummy! You know your taste. Add as much red onion and dressing as you like. Definitely make this salad right when you are about to sit down to eat.

Ham and Beans

So yummy. I put it in the crock pot.I added a ham hock it so I increased the water. I put the water about an inch above the ham hock. I had too much liquid but drained some of it. Turned out great. It took about 10 hours to cook.

Eggplant Parmesan II

I have never made eggplant parmesan but have enjoyed it at restaurant. I followed the directions to the "t." It lacks flavor. I think there was too much tomato sauce. It was soggy even after cooking the eggplant for about 20 minutes on each side.

Self-Filled Cupcakes I

Super moist. I did not have the chocolate chips. The cupcakes were great without them. Take the advice of only filling the bottom 1/4 batter, tsp to TBL of cream cheese mixture and fill the rest to only 2/3. My cupcakes cam out perfect using this method. I would make again.

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Very good. It was a good blend of flavored. I would use fresh rosemary which everyone recommended. I may reduce the olive oil next time. I also omitted the salt and 1/2 the sugar.

Italian Breaded Pork Chops

I did not have time to bake the chops. I did not change any ingredient. I did leave the garlic in the pan and then fried the chops. I will fry and then bake them next time.

Tomato Chicken Parmesan

I loved this. I was never crazy about chicken parmesan but this recipe has chnaged my mind. I took the advice to flatten the chicken and to put the chicken in to hold the breading together. I added some garlic to the oil before frying the chicken. I think those who thought this was boring may need to try a different tomato sauce.
