About this Cook
I have one daughter who is a very picky eater! I just really started trying harder with my cooking. My husband is definately happier with dinnertime! I grew up on a farm in a small town. We didn't have fast foods and nice restaurants. We ate what Mom put on the table! My husband and I have been married 8 years. I love to cook, read and scrapbook!
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook a lot of red sauce dishes such as spaghetti and meatballs from Rachel Ray's recipes. I LOVE to bake. Some of my favorite goodies are texas sheet cake brownies, chocolate pound cake, peanut butter cookies and all different muffins!
My favorite family cooking traditions
We don't have many traditions. I just remember my mom always baking good things in the kitchen. I remember when we would go to grandma's house we would either get roast or goulash. We would joke about it in the car ride there.
My cooking triumphs
I have a few cooking triumphs. When I mastered cooking Rachel Rays meatballs and would see my husband so happy to be eating them. I just did my first good roast the other night. I almost gave up on trying to cook a roast.
My cooking tragedies
Oh the tragedies of my cooking! I don't remember any in particular but I remember the feeling of the tragedies. When we first got married it was Macaroni and Hamburger Helper. I can't stomach the taste any more.

Cinnamon Rolls III
Yummy! Loved them. My first time doing cinnamon rolls and they turned out great. I would undercook them just a little next time. We like ours gooy. I did double the frosting and the filling. Didn't use all the filling but it was nice to put in a little extra!
