About this Cook
I'm a stay home mom and military wife who loves to cook and share food with the neighbors!
My favorite things to cook
I love baking, mostly cookies, cakes, muffins etc. I want to get better at Cheesecake and breads.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We make monkey bread Christmas morning, have since I was a kid.
My cooking tragedies
I tried to make whole wheat rolls once, they were very dense and like rocks.

Taco Pie
We loved this. I made it using ground turkey, reduced fat sour cream and reduced fat cheese. The crescent roll dough was too big for a 9x9 pan, but I didn't want to make a 9x13 pan so I just doubled up the dough and bakes that part a tad longer. I also used crushes tortilla chips, probably half of a family size bag of chips. My kids even liked this. It was quick and it was easy, we will be making this again.

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs
Absolutely delicious! I marinaded the chicken for 24 hours, it was moist and very flavorful, a total hit at our party this weekend.

Kabobs
Everyone raved about the marinade on the steak this weekend. I doubled the recipe and used about 3lbs of steak. Will use again.
