About this Cook
I am a 25 yr old Wife and Mother of one, one year old...
My favorite things to cook
My husband is VERY health conscience and I'm a vegetarian so I don't get to cook this very often but last Valentines Day I made him Filet Mignon...It looked very elegant and he loved it!
My favorite family cooking traditions
The more the merrier is basically the only tradition we have :)
My cooking triumphs
Making my first ever cheesecake...I didn't think I could do it but it came out PERFECT! Not too heavy not too light...no cracks!!!
My cooking tragedies
I tried to make a White Chocolate Raspberry cake this Christmas...It came out WAY too sweet and VERY dry! Oh Well! Thats Life! :)

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue
This review is from my husband and 4 year old son as I don't eat meat :) They went crazy for it! I only made 2 chicken breasts and scaled down the sauce...Next time I will make all the sauce it calls for because i had to keep adding water to keep it from burning. But anyway...It smelled CRAZY good and when I took it out of the crock pot it just fell apart! I also made this last week with my cast iron pan because I forgot to start it earlier - the only thing I changed was I used fresh chicken not frozen and didn't cook it as long. Thanks!

Orzo with Tomato and Fried Tofu
i think this is a good base recipe. As is I found it kind of bland. I think maybe a light dressing (olive oil, white wine vinegar & lemon) would help give it more flavor. And next time I think I'll use half the orzo...just too much for me...
