Tiramisu Layer Cake

Tiramisu Layer Cake
SO GOOD!!! I made this cake(the 2nd time) for a christmas party and people kept coming back for more and more. This time I made two layers of coffee cake instead of just one and used 1 and a 1/2 cups of coffee and a 1/2 cup of the coffee liqueur. Absolutely perfect! I liked it better when the cake was saturated with the coffee/liqueur mixture... like true tiramisu! I would highly recommend making this cake; it's simple and impressive!

Hot Peanut Sauce
I loved this peanut sauce! I went to the store earlier to get some ingredients for a asian chicken peanut dish. I bought a bottled thai peanut sauce, opened it... and threw it out... it was so awful. So quickly I went online and found this recipe. I used Jiff Creamy and I added a little extra tsp. of brown sugar... I thought it could've been a bit sweeter. And that may be because of my soy sauce. It was so old that most of liquid evaporated out and I was left with a rather thick(and very salty!) soy syrup... but overall it was the perfect sauce for my peanuty chicken lettuce wraps! I went back to the fridge multiple times throught the night for more!

Cream Puffs
These puff shells were perfect! They turned out lovely! However, I used the recipe for the Pastry Cream submitted by Kevin Ryan... which is delicious... The two combined made for a cream puff my coworkers swore up and down that I got them from a fancy bakery downtown... But I'll admit, they were quite a bit of work...
