My favorite things to cook
I like to cook quick and easy dinners for my husband and myself on weeknights. On weekends and holidays, I sometimes enjoy cooking more complicated recipes and especially trying new things.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love to cook the traditional holiday meals my mother always made, especially turkey and all the trimmings for Thanksgiving. My mother's giblet gravy is the best.
My cooking triumphs
Every time I cook a meal that makes people happy, it is a triumph to me. I especially love making delicious healthy recipes.
My cooking tragedies
I once accidentally substituted salt for cake in a chocolate cake recipe. It tasted sort of like play-dough.

Strawberry Balsamic Chicken
I halved the marinade, and substituted lain yogurt for half of the yogurt. Also, I added no sugar. In other words, because of what others had commented, and because my husband is not wild about sweet sauce on meat, I made this significantly less sweet. I also cut the pepper in half as I'm not a fan of a lot of pepper. It came out completely delicious. The strawberry flavor goes great with the marinade and the chicken. We enjoyed it with salad, rice, and baklava for dessert.
