I have been looking for 4 years for a good yorkshire recipe - mine always are doughy. Not with this recipe, however! Great job, it's going to be a staple in my house! PS - Didn't have any veg oil, so used butter instead. Turned out great

I am impartial to pork and beans, however, my husband wants me to make him beans more often. When I saw this recipe, I decided I had my chance. I couldn't believe how much he liked it. You'd have thought I'd made a gourmet meal. Quite simple, and I threw it all in the slow cooker to cook all day. I ended up adding about an extra 1/4 c of BBQ sauce, because it wasn't saucy enough. My husband has already added this to his list of top dishes. Well done.

My husband wasn't too sure when I told him what we were having but he changed his tune once he started eating it. I topped with dumplings, to make it more like a chicken pot pie. The stew didn't thicken like I thought it should and my husband thought it should taste more "stewy" (Whatever that means.) I thought it was good. I didn't have all the veggies on hand, so I substituted all the veggies for 3 cups of frozen veggies. I also slow-cooked it all day and it turned out very good.
